Are acrylic nails safe for pregnancy. Im 17 weeks and I just recently died my hair I think its fine as long as its not bleach. The main risk with the use of acrylic nail and other salon products is from exposure to solvent fumes. I hope that its not a stupid question but I want to make sure I can continue.

Are acrylic nails safe in first trimester. I was wondering if having acrylic nails during pregnancy is not safe for the baby because of the fumes. Its also a good idea to wear gloves to protect your hands from UV light.
